Helm chain with added twist "barbs" Barbs can either be layered or mirrored for two different looks. Barbs may also alternate direction from cell to cell.
Nomenclature note: Barbed Helm was originally assigned to a different weave. Through structural study, that weave was found to be based on the weave Celtic and as such Barbed Helm was a misnomer. The weave that was originally named Barbed Helm has been changed to Barbed Celtic.
