Love the way this looks, can you use 18g 5/16 to make this or is this too tight or loose for the weave?
18swg 5/16" has a mandrel AR of 6.51, once you add springback in, it could possibly work for for the R1 version (only one reinforcing ring per cell). Depending on the Actual AR of the ring, it could be a little tight, a little loose, or just right. I really depends on the actual AR of the ring. An actual 6.6 AR should be about just right (for R1)
