This thread is for the general discussion of the weave Dragonsteps. Please add to the discussion here.
Are you familiar with Dragon Tail? Dragonsteps is a forced expansion of Dragon Tail (Stepped) (the stepped transformation of Dragon Tail). Every other large ring is forced to opposite edges (odd rings one way, even rings the opposite) and then stabilized by adding additional edge rings. While there's a tutorial on MAIL (link in the "External Resources" tab), I'll see if I can throw one together for you as well.I'm not seeing how the two strands of chain are joined together. What am I missing?
Ah, now I see. Thank you for the additional explanation!View attachment 8249
At no point do silver rings "connect" to copper rings or copper to silver.
- Make Dragon Tail Stepped.
- Push Odd large rings to one side, Even large rings to the opposite. (expansion)
- Stabilize expansion by adding additional small edge rings.
