Pros
  • Shipped quickly
  • Good Quality
  • Clear Labeling
Cons
  • More of a personal preference, but the rings are left handed
  • Ring packages are not resealable
Ordered at 9pm Tuesday, rings were shipped out Wednesday and I received them on Saturday. Great individual packages of rings, all clearly labeled with material type, ring size, and most importantly AR. While the individual packages are not resealable, I have plenty of baggies so that's more of a minor inconvenience than a con. Emails were sent at every step of the process so I was always kept informed.

Really wish they sold stainless as well, but maybe someday.

I recently received the Chainmail Joe "Complete Chainmail Kit" as a gift and I have to say, I'm impressed.

Upon opening the box, I was greeted with pretty much everything needed to get started with chainmaille.

7 different sizes of rings in very adequate amounts

Hardware for creating items

Two pairs of pliers (a little on the small side - probably the only "negative" about the kit)

Size card to check ring sizes against if you wind up with loose rings

and a book with instructions on how to make 20 different weaves (I personally consider it 18 weaves as 2 of them are just "kinged" versions of other weaves in the book.)

If you're looking to test out chainmaille to see if it's for you, you could definitely do a lot worse than buying this kit. I can totally recommend it without any hesitation.
