This is Hydrascale; according to the M.A.I.L. website, it has similarities with European 4 in 1, Japanese 6 in 1, Gridlock, & Dragonscale 4 in 1. 18g wire; L. rings= 8mm O.D., S. rings= 6mm O.D.
This is the sheet version of the Water Dragon band, a Dragonscale 4 in 1 & EU 6 in 1 combo. The large rings orbit & go through the small (like regular Dragonscale), & go through 6 other rings (like EU 6 in 1) - 4 small + 2 large. 18g wire, L. rings= 10mm O.D., S. rings= 8mm O.D.
This is Tiamut Scale, which is based on regular Dragonscale/Dragonscale 4 in 1. If you remove all the large rings, you get a loose regular Dragonscale; the same thing occurs if you remove all the small rings instead. 18g wire, L. rings= 12mm O.D., M. rings= 10mm O.D., S. rings= 8mm O.D.
This is King’s Wyvernscale, (structure suggests Anti-Ice Dragon’s Helm for an alt name). Only the “scale” rings are kinged. 18g wire, L. rings= 12mm, M. rings= 10mm, S. rings= 8mm.
This is a comparison of Dragon Sickness & it's 6 in 1 progression, Dracosis. Both patterns/weaves can be made with the mobius balls having z-laid, or s-laid twists (like how Dragon Roses, Vermithor's Fury, Caraxes' Bloodlust, Scatha's Scourge, & Treasurewyrm can be).
A pattern/weave I invented & call Dracosis. Drakescale with 3-ring mobius balls for small rings. The name is meant to mean "Dragon Sickness". 18g wire; L. rings= 12mm O.D., S. rings= 9mm O.D.
A pattern/weave I invented & call Dragon Sickness. Wyvernscale 4 in 1 with 3-ring mobius balls for small rings; 18g wire, L. rings= 10mm O.D., S. rings= 7mm O.D.; named aft J.R.R. Tolkien's "Dragon Spell/Curse" featured in the Hobbit novels & films called Dragon Sickness.
This is Dragon Roses with the 3-ring mobius balls that serve as the large "scale rings" with a twist like z-laid rope. 18g wire, L. rings= 12mm O.D., & S. rings= 8mm O.D. The S-laid version can be found on the Dragonscale family tree photo.
A pattern/weave I invented & call Ophidian Scale (A.K.A. Ice Dragon's Helm 6 in 1). Basically Drakescale with kinged small rings. 18g wire, L. rings= 12mm O.D., & S. rings= 8mm O.D.; the "Ophidian" is a reference to the scientific Clade classification of snakes & their kin.
This is the sheet form of the Ice Dragon's Helm chain; When comparing with related patterns/weaves, I call it Ice Dragon's Helm 4 in 1. Structure suggests Anti-King's Wyvernscale for an alt name. Basically Wyvernscale 4 in 1 with kinged small rings; 18g wire, L. rings= 6mm O.D., & S. ring= 6mm O.D.
This is a comparison of Callisto 4 in 1 with my inventions, Fáfnir's Last Stand & Sigurð's Armour, which are 6 in 1 progressions & variants of Callisto 4 in 1. My inventions are named after the characters in the story about Fáfnir the dragon & the hero Sigurð/Siegfried in Norse & Germanic mythology.
A pattern/weave I invented & call Sigurð's Armour (A.K.A. Callisto 6 in 1 Variant). Nearly identical to Fáfnir's Last Stand, but with different positioning of the large & small rings in the columns with parallel rings. Uses the same ring sizes as F.L.S.; named aft. Fáfnir's slayer, Sigurð/Sigfried.
A pattern/weave I invented & call Fáfnir's Last Stand (A.K.A. Callisto 6 in 1). Every 2nd column of large rings go through 3 rows of 2 in 1 chains made by the small rings. 18g wire; L. rings= 12mm O.D., S. rings= 8mm O.D.; named aft. the dragon Fáfnir from Norse & Germanic mythology.
This is the sheet form of the Callisto chain. When comparing with related patterns/weaves, I call it Callisto 4 in 1. Every 2nd column of large rings go through 2 rows of 2 in 1 chains made by the small rings. 18g wire; L. rings= 8mm O.D., S. rings= 6mm O.D.
This is a comparison of my Catastrophe Strikes! invention with my other two inventions that're based on it: Ancalagon's Wrath, & Vermithor's Fury. I have yet to make a patch of another one of my inventions, Caraxes' Bloodlust (A.K.A. Vermithor's Fury 6 in 1), which is an Ancalagon's Wrath variant.
A pattern/weave I invented & call Vermithor's Fury (A.K.A. Anti-Scatha's Scourge). Catastrophe Strikes! with 3-ring mobius balls for small rings. 18g wire, L. rings= 12mm O.D., M. rings= 10mm O.D., S. rings= 7mm O.D.; named aft. the dragon, Vermithor the Bronze Fury in G.R.R. Martin's GoT universe.
A pattern/weave I invented & call Ancalagon's Wrath (A.K.A. Catastrophe Strikes! 6 in 1 or Anti-Balerion's Dread). 18g wire, L. rings= 12mm O.D., M. rings= 10mm O.D., S. rings= 8mm O.D.; named aft J.R.R. Tolkien's largest dragon, Ancalagon the Black, & the war he fought in (the War of Wrath).
