This tutorial demonstrates how to make the hexagonally-expanding Crenelated-3 Sheet weave (https://chainmaillers.com/maillepedia/240/).

Ring sizes used:
Small: .032" WD, .140" ID
Large: .063" WD, .333" ID

The small rings must have an ID (inner diameter) that is at least slightly larger than two times the WD (wire diameter) of the large rings. The ones used here are .014" larger than that difference (.140 - (2*.063) = .014") which keeps things fairly tight, so feel free to use...
