I don't have a huge stash right now, so I haven't gone out to buy any special storage. Instead, I decided to recycle a set of baby food containers with trays that I was no longer using. On each lid, I've taped a piece of paper with the material, gauge, ID, and AR.

I have a box used for scrapbooking and photo storage to keep it all together, http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/clear-extra-large-photo-keeper-287482/, but one thing I have learned is to always use ziplock bags to store your rings. I have seen online and from personal experience that containers fly open or fall and having it in a ziplock back inside the container it decreases your chance of spills and increases the utilization space of the container. My small containers are large enough for 2-3 pairs of pliers and 2-3 small bags of rings which I can take for a quick on-the-go travel kit.

Daniel H. Daniel H. , I couldn't agree with you more about keeping the rings in bags inside the storage containers. It's like a second level of protection against spillage. I've almost bought those scrapbook containers, but I've never really needed the extra room when I was within "impulse buy" reach ;)

I have a plethora of Craft Mates both in the keeper and loose ones.

I have also started using these from Harbor Freight - the little ones have latches and they fit inside the larger one.

I really like them so far, the only down side is that with more and more projects and different sized rings I need more of them but dont really have the house space. Sadly many new rings have ended up ziplocked and tossed in a giant bag to sort through when i need something.

I'm thinking about buying a cheap mechanic's type toolbox on wheels--like you use in the garage, with the drawers on rollers---for all my supplies. That way they can all be put in one place, and brought with when vending, everything at my reach, and rolled in, instead of carried.

That is brilliant. I've also heard of getting large generic tackle boxes from the sporting goods section of a big box store.

I'm using a couple of Creative Options storage containers at the moment. One is my supply bag(mainly carries my tools, beads, and lengths of wire) that came with four sectioned flat boxes and the other is a rather large case that stores my completed pieces so I can take them to and from events. The top of the case stores my packaging. Both were Christmas presents.

For my rings, my mom gave me her drawer box that she used to use for odds and ends. You know the kind. So many drawers across and so many down. One drawer is missing and the rings can sometimes come out the back.

All of my stuff is portable because at the moment, I don't have a proper work space.

Sorry for the massive post!

Unfortunately, I don't have pictures... I have about fifty different containers of various sizes... I upcycle old coffee containers for bigger rings and TRL's floor sweepings. The local dollar store had these donut looking containers that came on a rod, five donuts per rod, five compartments per donut... so 25 compartments per rod... I have to have a dozen rods now... I use some tackle box storage containers designed for lures for finished bracelets and necklaces. And I have this one tote... It is tall and such, with wheels for shows.

When I do a show that is outdoors, I have another container, but it does not contain any supplies... It contains drinks and maybe a bit of food! hehehe!

When i first started it seemed that a simple ziplock would work. Then to my amazement I now have 2 box of finished product, one bag of I forgot what i was doing, a box of thing waiting for the clasps, and the the two monster tote bags of rings half have forgotten there size.

I use something called "Really Useful Boxes" They come in sets of 16 per and are so far my favorite. They can be found at Office Depot and Staples in the U.S.

I think the small storage boxes in my original post are also called "Really Useful Boxes". I forgot the name. ;) Are they the same?

I love the husky ones. I think I'm close to needing a 4th. Either that or I should start using some of my stash, ;)

I use Dot Box system for most of my rings. Spiderchain.com and Candtdesigns.com both sell these. you can usually find better prices on Amazon.

Spider packs her niobium sampler kits in these and C&T packs their starter kits in them. Even the tiniest boxes hold more than you'd expect.
I also have a printer's tray, and utilize all kinds of containers - plastic candy trays, cookie tins and even plastic produce containers.

I am slowly collecting different types of small boxes that I sort my rings in. Being slightly obsessed with storage, I have a good idea of the final result, but I am not there yet. I plan on taking some pics of what I do have pretty soon..

I live in a small apartment with parents and brother, so the place is more than limited. My room resembles the Harry Potter's one under the stairs, it is so tiny. For now I use tool boxes for storage, but I will have to think of something better soon, I am running out of place to store storage boxes. :(
