Like Dragonsteps, Dragontoes is another forced expansion of Dragon Tail (Stepped). In Dragontoes, the extra rings that stabilize the expansion share an eye with a inner step ring in addition to going around an edge eye. There are additional ways to add the stabilization rings that give you an alternate and zigzag variant of the weave (see gallery).
