Chain Jens Pind Linkage 4

Jens Pind Linkage 4 is a progression of Jens Pind Linkage 3 made by the addition of a 4th lean grain to the structure. Unlike traditional JPL3 where the grains alternate (L-R-L, R-L-R) when rolling the chain, in JPL4, the additional grain creates 2 points where the grains repeat (L-R-L-R, R-L-R-L).

Described By note: This weave was originally described by Irene Petersen in 1999, under the name "Criss-Cross", in the book "Great Wire Jewelry: Projects and Techniques".
