Celtic Flower Pendant​

Materials​

For the pendant, you will need:

• 15 lavender anodised aluminium saw cut jump rings, ID 10.2mm, WD 1.6mm (A)
• 6 ice pink anodised aluminium saw cut jump rings, ID 6.8mm, WD 1.6mm (B)
• 1 lavender anodised aluminium saw cut jump rings, ID 6.7mm, WD 1.2mm (C)
• 10 ice pink anodised aluminium saw cut jump rings, ID 5mm, WD 1.2mm (D)
• 10 bright aluminium saw cut jump rings, ID 6mm, WD 1.02mm (E)

For the cord, you will need:

• 40cm faux black seude 3mm thong
• 2 silver plated fold over cord ends, 8x4mm
• 2 silver plated oval jump rings, 4.5x6mm
• 1 silver plated lobster clasp, 12mm
• 1 silver plated extension chain

Tools:

• two pairs of smooth jawed chain nose, bent nose or flat nose pliers

Instructions​

1. Link ten closed bright aluminium rings (E) to one lavender ring (C).
   
   
   
   
   
2. Link one lavender ring (A) to two bright aluminium rings (E) added in step 1. Repeat four times.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Link one lavender ring (A) through one bright aluminium ring (E) of one of the pairs from step 2 and one adjacent ring (E). Repeat four times.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Link five ice pink rings (B) through the same bright aluminium rings (E) as the lavender rings added in step 3.
   
   
   
   
   
5. For the final layer, link one lavender ring (A) through the same pair of bright aluminium rings (E) linked in step 2. Repeat four times.
   
   
   
   
   
6. Join one ice pink ring (D) at the outer edge, where three lavender rings (A) and one ice pink ring (B) intersect. Repeat nine times.
   
   
   
   
   
7. Link one ice pink ring (B) around one top and bottom lavender ring (A) – you will thread your thong through this ring.
   
   
   
   
   
8. Attach the cord ends to the thong. Add the lobster clasp and extension chain to the cord ends using the oval rings.
   
   

Variations​

• Use black and ice black anodised aluminium jump rings with the bright aluminium to create a monochrome look
• Try attaching beads to the outer ice pink rings (D) to add a little extra sparkle.
• Link several pendants to make a matching chunky bracelet.
