Stan and Jen's commitment to good design, and assistance in making the project work. They demand excellence in their work, they help you achieve it with their kits and supplies.
Cons
SPG makes chainmaille in stainless steel, niobium and titanium. Harder metals than those used for low end jewelry. If you have strength issues or prefer not to use these metals, they are not the place to purchase kits.
I can't remember the first time I ordered from SPG. I believe it was after I squee'd on a listing she posted. Jen's commitment to quality and Stan's precision makes their kits and finished products superb. I was intimidated by the turbine pendants. I still have to finish the two I bought.
With their help, I am honing my skills even after mailling for over 15 years.
If you are ready for a challenge, want quality kits and finished items, they have em. If you are a casual maker that wants to stick to soft metals and safe designs, you should watch their YouNow live stream channel and learn something. It may make you a better mailler. Or you may just have a laugh.
