Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. Demeter and Deyard are essentially the same weave. The difference between the two lies in relative positioning of the box cells that are present.

In Demeter moving vertical or horizontal will always result in the alternate color:

blue	red	blue	red
red	blue	red	blue
blue	red	blue	red
red	blue	red	blue

In Deyard only moving horizontal results in the alternate color. Vertically the box cells remain the same:

red	blue	red	blue
red	blue	red	blue
red	blue	red	blue
red	blue	red	blue
