The render does not seem to align with the intended tesselation according to the name.

The tesselation schäfli is s{4.4} or sr{4.4}, both in reducible to {4.4} tesselation, but I can only see a regular {4.4} in the image.

https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Snub_square_tiling has both types of tesselations represented by those numbers.

Do you consider the image on MAIL to be correct?
Diving deeper, I now see the tesselation.

the render is as on MAIL, and correct.

3.3.4.3.4 here refers to the shapes the small rings create, not usually how I look at things, but definitly correct.

(It’s a weave I seldon look at)

The problem with chainmaille is that you can reduce different things to polygonal equvivalents - What first strikes me is the pinwheel pattern equivalent to the p4 (442) subset of tr{4.4} - highly technnical stuff, but anyways, it reduces to {4.4}
