Chain Corvus Chain

Corvus Chain page

General Information

Weave Description
Corvus chain is a sequential reinforcement of 2-2 chain (4 in 2 chain) where the number of reinforcing rings alternates between 1 or 2 rings each cell. It can also be seen as a variant of Jellybeans on Parade.

Sequential Reinforcement Note: As with any sequential reinforcement, the number of reinforcing rings and/or the sequence of reinforcement can be changed and the result will remain a sequential reinforcement of the base weave. In some other classification systems, these changes resulted in a "new" weave being described, while it is my belief that this resulted in redundant weaves. In the name of consistency, the Maillepedia will try to retain their originally described names.
